The Project Engineer will perform a variety of engineering design services, project engineering efforts and project management support for CNS including R&D work. The project engineer will also provide engineering support for tenders related to the diverse portfolio of power conversion projects in the metals, oil and gas, marine and naval markets within North America. Relocation to Corporate Headquarters required.

 This position requires a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field coupled with five plus years of direct experience with power systems and/or drive systems. Experience with designing and/or specifying equipment associated with power conversion such as switchgear, transformers, drives and motors required. US Citizen or Permanent residency required.

The Field Service and Commissioning Engineer performs a wide range of engineering tasks and ensures proper installation, service and commissioning of products and services. Provides technical support for installation and commissioning of projects and provides maintenance, breakdown emergency support and remote troubleshooting.

Minimum requirements include a BSEE or related degree plus 4 to 5 years of drives, power, automation, and systems field service and commissioning experience. The successful candidate will have the ability to travel to destinations in the USA or overseas on short notice and for extended periods of time to commission new and troubleshoot existing systems.
