Typical applications would include fire control, missile guidance, and thermal imaging systems. Job Description: The focus of the Sr Manufacturing Engineer will be concentrated, but not limited to three strategic objectives.

Process Development and Process Control: The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead development and implementation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and test fixturing required supporting customer specifications and products against quoted cost and within prescribed quality guidelines.
Estimating: Prepare cost estimates for customer proposals by evaluating technical requirements.
Process Documentation: This position will be responsible for building and maintaining manufacturing process documentation for us by production personnel in the performance of their job, (WOR’s, Routers, BOM’s, RCN’s, ECO’s, etc.).

Additional responsibilities: maintenance of support documentation including SMP’s, Ispecs, drawings, and special processes.

Education: BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering Study “or” 10 years equivalent experience as a manufacturing engineer in an optics fabrication environment.

Experience: Five to 10 years optical manufacturing experience servicing Aerospace and Defense Customers.
