			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client, a recognized global leader in their industry, has an immediate need for Sales Manager to build and deliver continued growth by expanding markets, channels, and customer reach in the US, Canada, and Latin America. This strategic position will report to the President and develop overall and segmented strategies to address existing and new markets, geographies, direct, channel, and distribution markets. The successful candidate will participate with senior leadership in guiding the overall marketing and product roadmaps for the company,  prepare monthly sales and pipeline forecasts, deliver quarterly sales team training, hire A players, plan and participate in global sales meeting, and conduct bi-weekly sales revenue update calls. 20% to 25% travel is expected. All candidates will be fluent in English and ideally fluent in French, Spanish or Portuguese as well.  Relocation assistance provided for the successful candidate.</p>

<p>The successful candidate will have a BS in optics, physics, chemistry or engineering and 5-10 years executive sales experience with demonstrated track record of revenue growth and at least $25M in revenue responsibility. Preference will be given to graduate degrees. He/she well have extensive experience with technology-driven firms, new product introductions, and multiple-channel distribution. Experience in setting up domestic distribution while managing and motivating sales teams is critical.  Preference will be given to Photonics, Spectroscopy, industrial/medical analyzer/analysis experience.</p>

<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>
<p>The Regional Account Executive will work out of an at-home based office with in the assigned region and report to the National Sales Director. He/she will have quota responsibility for all sales and business development activity within the assigned territory. Functional duties would include but not limited to: developing sales presentations, proposal production, contract negotiation, sales forecasts, and account records management. 50% to 60% travel is expected. This is a high visibility strategic position with solid growth and uncapped earning potential.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of complex enterprise sales experience within law enforcement, government, and public safety markets.  This position requires an energetic self starter with a proven ability working across diverse organizations with multiple stake holders. To be considered for this exciting and challenging position, you must have proven hands on success with Public Safety business processes spanning technology applications and  grant acquisition.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are mandatory.</p>
