<p> <strong>Quality Manager: </strong>This is a highly visible position reporting to the Plant Manager requiring a take charge attitude and strong leadership. A proven track record of driving TQM and continuous improvement to the next level in a heavily engineered custom product environment is required. Responsibilities include managing a union team of salaried and hourly employees, quality process engineering and continuous improvement, mechanical and overall gauge calibration programs, defect analysis and correction, subcontracting support and supplier certifications, and quality process documentation. Preferred candidates will have an appropriate engineering degree, a five plus year quality management track record, Nuclear 1A experience, and working knowledge on EM production standards. <p><strong>Job Description:</strong> The focus of the Sr Manufacturing Engineer will be concentrated, but not limited to three strategic objectives.</p>
<ol>
<li>Process Development and Process Control: The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead development and implementation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and test fixturing required supporting customer specifications and products against quoted cost and within prescribed quality guidelines.</li>
<li>Estimating: Prepare cost estimates for customer proposals by evaluating technical requirements.</li>
<li>Process Documentation: This position will be responsible for building and maintaining manufacturing process documentation for us by production personnel in the performance of their job, (WOR’s, Routers, BOM’s, RCN’s, ECO’s, etc.).</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Additional responsibilities: </strong>maintenance of support documentation including SMP’s, Ispecs, drawings, and special processes.</p>
<p><strong>Education:</strong> BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering Study “or” 10 years equivalent experience as a manufacturing engineer in an optics fabrication environment.</p>
<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Five to 10 years optical manufacturing experience servicing Aerospace and Defense Customers.</p>

<p><strong>Job Description:</strong><br />
This is a newly created and critical position for the integration, commissioning, and in-service support for the Navy’s newest DDG 1000 fleet. The LTBS manager will act as the program lifecycle expert in the electrical integration of Power and Propulsion solutions. In addition to building a team, the LTBS will be the primary contact to the US Navy, as well as a conduit between the Navy, Shipyard, and company personnel world wide.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong><br />
Minimum requirements include a 4 year engineering, project management, or equivalent experience degree, (BSEE preferred). Eight years experience in an engineering industry, including 5 years of project/program management for complex engineering projects (marine or Naval power and propulsion systems preferred) involving design integration, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.</p>
<p>A security clearance or ability to get clearances is mandatory. Contracts experience would be a plus.</p>
