Job Description: Statement of Work Solves complex application development problems. Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules. Responsible for developing and implementing applications. Develops plans for Information Technology (IT) systems from project inception to conclusion. Analyzes the problem and the information to be processed. Defines the problem, and develops system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests. Coordinates with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program according to system specifications. Develops, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions. Prepares test plans and test data to test the proposed system. Project Role: Security Business Systems (SBS) designs, engineers, and manages the dynamic information technology environment in support of the evolving Security mission. Position Responsibility:Requirements gathering and analysis. Design, development and deployment of enterprise-wide web-based applications. Service layer design and development. COTS and GOTS software analysis and integration. Manage a mid-sized development team. Schedule development and allocate resources. Provide legacy data migration and validation using complex data queries and algorithms. Transition to enterprise data layer. Understand the OS personnel security business processes.Knowledge of Office of Security Business Processes.Knowledge of ABS technical standards. Oracle, SQL. Jee, EJB, Eclipse. Apache Tomcat, BEA Weblogic. Webservices xfire/cxf.Hibernate ORM. Spring MVC, JSP, javascript, AJAX. Sharepoint. Experience using Agile methodology.

 

Mandatory Skills: J2EE design and development.Demonstrated experience as a software development team lead.Demonstrated experience in full-lifecycle software development.Logical and physical complex data modeling.Webservice design and development. Service Oriented Architecture.Strong problem solving skills. TS clearances required.
